⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely Worth the Drive! We had another fabulous afternoon and evening at Patsy’s Pub & Restaurant in Patterson, New Jersey! Patsy’s is about a two-hour drive from our home, but it’s one of those places that makes the trip absolutely worth it. We left home around 3:00 p.m. and didn’t get back until about 9:00 p.m.—and it was a wonderful afternoon and evening filled with good food, good conversation, and great people. Our waitress, Noelle, did an excellent job. She was extremely attentive, kept things moving, and cleared the empty plates quickly. And I have to give her an extra shout-out for her excellent penmanship! You don’t see handwriting like that every day. 😊 I had the veal Parmesan with a side of linguine, and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the mussels and the pizzas, and everything was fantastic. We liked the pizza so much that we even ordered two pizzas to take home! It was especially good to see Steve, Jill, and the family again. They do a fabulous job, and you can tell how much pride they take in Patsy’s. Absolutely loved the pizza at Patsy’s! The very first bite, you can taste the beautifully made marinara sauce paired with a healthy amount of cheese. Not greasy at all, and the crust was unlike anything I’ve had before; crisp , sort of savoury biscuit-like and incredibly unique. Every flavour on this pizza absolutely pops. The service was just as impressive. The owner and staff were exceptionally hospitable, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. You can tell they really care about both their food and their customers. Dave Portnoy was not lying about a rating of 9.1 I absolutely loved everything about this place and can’t wait to come back!

The 1 star reviews here seriously make me laugh. This place has been making pizza for 90 years. 3 generations of my family have been eating here and since the beginning of time . The pizza here is legendary!! I still remember Gary use to whip a Blue Crab Linguini Marinara every few crab seasons. if only I could get a dish of that right now R.I.P. 🙏

This was our last of the 5 oldest Pizza restaurants in the State of New Jersey. Patsy’s was established in 1931 as a social club and later turned into a local favorite. This place hasn’t changed much since the Grandfather opened it with the exception of the bar. The bar and back contains simple selection of spirits. The bar has an old pay phone. The men’s bathroom is an antique. The dining room has a combination of booths and tables. We ordered the mussel marinara with a spicy sauce. The sauce was tasty but mussels were tasteless and certainly not plump. The bread was fresh but mediocre. Fountain soda, again was flat and not the quality of Coke or Pepsi. Pizza arrived hot and took minutes to our surprise. The sauce was good and the crust has a crisp to it with not flop. The pizza was average for a bar pie. This is a historic site for pizza lovers and you should give a try. One bite Pizza review gave it an 8.2 and later a 9. Tomorrow my ranking of the 5 oldest pizza restaurants.

Delicious pizza, unique in its pan shaped crust, which is a highlight. A magnetic bar. Excellent service. A non functioning phone booth. May this place never change. Thank you for taking such good care of our group today.
